We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on SEO Manager to join the growing central marketing team, which provides support to the companies in the collective. Specialities within the group include app & web development, data tech, data insight, office space, retail and consumer tech. As an experienced Search Manager reporting to the Head of Group Marketing, you will be responsible for managing your own clients and projects, carrying out search activity, implementing recommendations and producing regular reports to measure success. 

You will ideally have a track record of implementing successful SEO strategies which have led to a positive impact in website rankings, traffic and value. You will also be able to manage a portfolio of dedicated projects, and work as part of a team on website builds and migrations. 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Writing SEO proposals including target KPIs & presenting to clients
  • Implementing SEO strategies, monitoring and reviewing
  • Conducting keyword research
  • Carrying out on-site optimisation audits, providing recommendations and implementation
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in the search industry
  • Share search knowledge and learnings with the team regularly
  • Gain & maintain GA certification
  • Keep up to date with GA platform & new features & share with the team
  • Carrying out market and competitor research and analysis regularly to inform/amend strategy
  • Lead/input into campaign brainstorm sessions as required
  • Review client performance daily in Google Analytics & other relevant search tools as required
  • Deliver search performance against set KPIs
  • Attending regular client and/or inter-company  meetings face to face, phone or via Zoom
  • Liaising with the technical departments (internal/external) ensuring SEO recommendations are implemented

Essential

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • A passion for Search Marketing
  • Experience gained in a Search Agency
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Search Marketing
  • Google Analytics experience to a high standard
  • Google Tag Manager experience to a high standard
  • Knowledge of various tools including:
    • Google My Business
    • Google Search Console
    • Google Data Studio
    • SEMrush
    • Screaming Frog
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experienced in dealing with multiple priorities, clients and agencies
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Wordpress and other content management systems.
