ABOUT LYNNE

I lead a team of 4 who look after everything people related at Inc, from the keeping and updating of our HR records and dealing with queries from the team, to recruitment and retention as well as more complex employment issues, for example when we acquire new companies and their people into the Group.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

My background is Banking where I spent over 30 years of my career, spending the majority of that in Financial Services. I led a team of around 70 based across the North of England, with responsibility for their personal and professional development, sales, and regulatory compliance.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR ROLE?

The most enjoyable part of my role is when I see fantastic people growing in experience and confidence and achieving things they probably never thought possible when they joined. I love those moments when you see an individual take on board some coaching or feedback and run with it to get the right outcome for them their people and the business. Sometimes those magic moments can literally make your week worthwhile. People have infinite potential, and I love that.

We have introduced a really great platform to help us work on team engagement, giving our people a new and inclusive way to give their feedback on all aspects of the business. It’s very fulfilling to be able to read the positive feedback and hear first-hand about things like the strength of team relationships, but more importantly to be able to work on those areas where we can make Inc & Co an ever better please to work.
